Creating Specialty Output

5. Indicate whether you want to delete the file by:
• Clicking Yes to delete the output.
• Clicking No to retain the output in the directory.
Designing Custom Outputs
The pre-made templates should meet many of your specialty output
needs; however, there are times when you might want to design a
completely unique output. The Custom template allows you to start
completely from scratch and create a design of your own.
A custom output starts out as a blank output that you can use to create
posters, banners, stickers, magnets, bumper stickers, buttons, badges,
labels, signs, and awards.
Note: If you don’t want to create an output from scratch, you can use a
pre-made template as a starting point and then change it to
meet your specific needs. Follow the previous procedures in
Creating Specialty Output Using Templates on page 5-4,
and then add your own graphics, text, or variable data to the
output.
To create a custom output
1. From Document Type dialog box (Figure 4-1 on page 4-3), select
Create New Document.
2. Select the printer you want to use.
Note: If your VisiMate
™
printer is connected and online, the installed
media size, media color, and ribbon color automatically appears
on the taskbar. If the printer is not communicating, the default
media width and color will be displayed from the print driver.
This does not apply for PosterPrinter™ Systems.
3. Select Custom.
4. Click OK. The New Document dialog box appears.
